Nathan was called to First Baptist Church in August of 2005 as Minister to Students and was called to be pastor on February 7, 2010. He is married to Kayla and they have three girls - Elaina and Kate, and Olivia. Nathan is a graduate of Deer Park High School near Houston, Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Nathan served in youth ministry for over 14 years. He is passionate about teenagers coming to the Lord and about them having a passionate relationship with Jesus.
Nathan enjoys sports, computers, and especially spending time with his family.
Minister of Music - Jim Clayman

Jim was called to First Baptist Church in August 2003 after serving our church as Interim Music Minister. He is married to Kay and they have two grown children - Jeremy, a business manager for Lockheed, and Christopher, a missionary in New York City. Jim & Kay have two grandchildren, Hudson and Carey.
Jim is a native of Dallas, a graduate of Bryan Adams High School, Dallas Baptist College (BS in Music Education) and North Texas State University (MME). Jim previously served as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Georgetown (1980-2000), BSU Director at Southwestern University (1980-1985), FBC Winnsboro(1977-1980 and Elam Baptist Church, Dallas (1974-1977.)
Jim is an outdoorsman and on his day off he can often be found on his SeaDoo on Possom Kingdom Lake.
Associate Pastor of Education & Family Ministry
Andy Rodgers

Andy is an Abilene native and a graduate from Hardin-Simmons University. He has a Masters of Arts in Family Ministry from Logsdon Seminary, and has worked in youth ministry since 2003. He has a passion for reaching families of all ages, shapes, and sizes for the Lord. Andy enjoys music, sports, and spending time with family.
Director of Youth Ministry - Kayla Murray

Kayla was called to First Baptist in August 2011. She grew up in San Saba, and is a graduate of Howard Payne University. She is presently working on her Masters of Youth Ministry at Howard Payne University. Murray was licensed to ministry in May 2007 at Woodcreek Baptist Church in Brownwood. She has over seven years of experience working with youth. Kayla has a passion to help teenagers mature in Christ as they transition to adulthood.
Minister of Senior Adults - Ann Fidler afidler@fbcmwtx.org
Ann has been part of FBC Mineral Wells as a church member for many years. She has worked in many areas and has been a faithful servant specifically in the youth area. Since June of 2010, Ann has been serving as our Minister of Senior Adults.
First Steps Preschool Director -Janna Rasmussen
Janna joined the staff as Director of First Steps Preschool in July 2008. She grew up in Arlington, Texas and is a graduate of Martin High School and Hardin-Simmons University (BBS in Social Studies and Education). She has been married to Dan for 15years and they have 2 children; Dane and Claire. Janna enjoys baking and decorating cakes, playing the violin and piano, volunteering at her children's schools and in the community and she loves to scrapbook!!
Pastor/Financial Secretary - Sandra Walker

Sandy has served First Baptist Church since April of 2002. She is a native of Mineral Wells and a graduate of Mineral Wells High School (class of "we won't tell you.") She is married to Ron (April 19, 2008) and she has two grown children: Crystal and Chris, who live in McKinney, Texas. Sandy has taught typing and computers at Weatherford College.
Receptionist/Records Secretary - Cheryl Robinson

Cheryl has served First Baptist Church since February 2003. She is a graduate of Mineral Wells High School. David & Cheryl have four grown children: Brandi, Jill, Lisa and Daven. Cheryl is married to David, who is a Paint specialist for Lowe's in Weatherford. David and Cheryl have 7 grandchildren. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys taking pictures of her grandkids.
Church Organist - Joyce Embry

Joyce has served as church organist since January 2000. She is a graduate of Lipan High School and has three grown children, Mike, Diana, and Scott, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Joyce also plays the keyboard and served as church pianist at Calvary Baptist Church for 35 years.
Joyce enjoys traveling with friends to exotic places and taking care of her twin "baby" schnauzers.
Church Pianist - Pat Harrington

Pat has served as our church pianist since January 1981. She is a graduate of Mineral Wells High School, Tarleton State University (BS in Education) and East Texas State University (MBEd.) She retired after teaching 31 years of business and computer classes at Mineral Wells High School. Pat assists many of the programs and events of our church with creative artwork and props.
Pat enjoys crafts and painting in her free time.
Preschool Coordinator - Aneta Baker
Aneta has served as Preschool Coordinator since August of 2000 and has worked in the preschool area for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Mineral Wells High School. Aneta and her husband, Bobby, have two grown children: Glenn and Jana. Bobby serves as Director of Public Works for the City of Mineral Wells.
Free time is scarce for Aneta, but she has been known to be a cook on the Chuck Wagon.
Building Maintenance Supervisor - Steve Richards

Steve has served First Baptist Church since August 1991. He is a graduate of Sudan High School. He and his wife, B.J. have 2 children: Adam and Trina and one grandson, Aiden. B.J. is a church secretary at the Southside Church of Christ.
Steve enjoys carpentry work after hours.
